Defense Support Services LLC (DS2), a Lockheed Martin and Day & Zimmerman Company, has an immediate opening at its Ft. Worth, Texas office for a:
Director, Pricing and Estimating
Responsibilities include providing management, guidance, direction and training to pricing personnel. Provide recommendations to Senior Management in support of new business bid/no bid and strategy decisions. Support Business Development and current Operational Programs in the analysis, strategy, and formation of cost and price methodologies and models, for eventual submission to U.S. Government entities, as well as commercial and foreign governments. Assist pricing personnel in the management, development and production of the Cost/Price Volume and pricing model in response to government requirements. Cost and pricing is focused on the government services industry.
Fifteen (15) years or more experience working with the FAR, DFARs, Department of Defense, and Defense Contract Audit Agency to include the following:
- In depth understanding of direct and indirect costs; Disclosure statements, allowability and allocation of cost structures; and overhead pool formation.
- At least three (3) years of Management/Supervisory experience
- In depth knowledge of the Government proposal and contract regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
- Experience working with IDIQ type contracts and development of supporting cost models.
- Experience writing and managing Cost/Price Volume Development
- Expert ability in the use and execution of the Microsoft Excel application.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications such as Access, Power Point, and Project.
Bachelors Degree in related discipline required. Masters Degree desired.
