Sr. Project Controller
The client is currently in the process of upgrading and improving their Finance/Accounting/Proj/Prog Control departments. Therefore they are looking for senior candidates with degrees in finance and accounting ONLY and are being very selective.
Job Details:
Education – Degrees in accounting and/or finance only. Accredited only.
Background – Candidate have at least 5 years of government contracting. They are NOT interested in Non-profits Nor are they interested in commercial companies which are not government contractors such as banks, pharmaceuticals, construction, academia, transportation, etc….
Experience:
MINIMUM of 5 solid years experience doing/performing/utilizing/creating the following…
Project/Program CFOs / Controllers (meaning they are the center of the program and they interact with Accounting, Program Managers, External Clients (DoD, Civilian and Homeland Security), Contracts, Pricing and
Proficient with Government Contracts 5+ years Experience!
Procurement
Managing and coaching
GAAP
FARs
Revenue recognition
Budgets
EAC/ETC: Estimate at Complete/Estimate to Complete
(NOTE: This is not 5 years experience total – this is 5 years experience in prog/project control as described above.)
Desired – CPAs would be extremely nice to have!
As well as CostPoint/Deltek and Excel w/ pivot table experience.
